Requesting a new City Electric Supply Trading or Cash Account via online portal. 


Trading account: 

  • Sign in… First time signing in online, a credit application will be generated.
  • Please complete the credit application and submit.
  • Check for an email coming from DocuSign, as you will have to provide signature through DocuSign and submit. 
  • At this point your application will be under review with our credit department.


Non-Trading account: For those who prefer to have an account and pay via cash or with credit card on each order

  • Go online to https://www.cityelectricsupply.com/PayBill/register
  • Click the “Apply for a CES Trade Account” button and follow the steps to complete a credit application.
  • Make the credit limit “zero” when filling out application
  • Add the words “Cash Account Only” in one of the Trade Reference boxes.
  • Confirm email address. A link will be sent to email for password creation. 
  • Sign in… First time signing in online, a credit application will be generated.
  • Please complete the credit application and submit.
  • Check for an email coming from DocuSign, as you will have to provide signature through DocuSign and submit. 
  • At this point your application will be under review with our credit department.

OR

  • Print the Credit Application out and hand deliver to your closest local City Electric Supply location for completion.


Your Credit application could be under review for as long as 2 weeks. If you have not heard from your local branch or the credit department after this time frame, please contact our customer service department for further research. 


Requesting an account, does not give you instant access to your account. You can always shop with City Electric Supply Online and pay with Credit Card upon checkout without needing an account.
